yes niel,me too ill just try start off with a few ybs....i still owe a buyer 2 ybs so once ive give him these if i can get about 26 to race it should give me a start...

had ybs out today, flew up to loft roof and had a peck a bout on grass.....the 2 that were out over night seem well settled now but im trying to keep the others down as long as possible, dont want any more losses.....

david when my youngens are getting too big i do the opposite i chase them up as they get lazy and dont want to fly

darent ian, i might loose another one.... need to keep hold of as many as i can.

David if you can race with 26 for me i would school them well and wait for the drop back races with the second part of the young bird season

Giving that years youngsters the last few races you will not have over raced the young ones

The pigeons that are left as yearlings can be raced well as old birds and then you can see what are your best pigeons

once you get your first year of racing out of the way you will be able to get a few extra pigeons around you so you can have a good amount of pigeons to race but not to many

yes do, im stuck between getting enough birds to breed a team from and having too many....plus as each year goes by and the birds arnt raced it means i am getting more that have never raced and some that will be 2 years old and never been in a basket, train or raced...

david i think you should start with youngbirds and then on from there with same birds as old bird racing

David as long as your pigeons have been well trained you can race them as 2 year olds with no problem
