| Look at this weeks winner of the NRCC race wins the classic in his very first race for Kevin Lawson
But this cock was well schooled as a young bird |

| yeah, i know what you are saying...so its no good throwing a 2 year old into a race thats had very little basket training and road work....? my yearlings ave only been in a basket once i there lives when i was putting the nest boxes in and they went a bit wild when they first went in, although they seemed to get used to it after a while.....but they also need to get used to coming out of the basket and flying home dont they...? |

| When you seperate the youngsters always do it into a basket first for a few days by doing this when they have grown up and have to be placed in the basket again they will not be panicing |

| yes, someone once told me that before, to put the basket in yb section and to feed them in it and drink in it so they know what to do for when they are training/racing. |

| When you wean the young birds from there parents place them in the basket straight away for a couple of days but make sure they have food and water available to have and if they do not have any then try to feed them yourself |

| What could be the reason, if a certain bird is pecking at some corn, but tend to miss peck it, a few times, till getting it, could there be something wrong with both eyes, or only one eye, the bird is a hen, and did some exellent flying. ? any thoughts. |
